ELIS: New Song Posted Online

September 28, 2006

A brand new ELIS song, entitled "Show Me the Way", has been posted online on the band's MySpace page. The track comes off the Liechtenstein-based gothic metal group's upcoming album, "Griefshire", which will be released soon via Napalm Records.

The recordings for "Griefshire" were completed prior to the death of ELIS' lead singer, Sabine Dünser, who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on July 7 during rehearsal and passed away the following day in hospital. The band has since announced that it will continue with a new vocalist and is currently accepting submissions from female singers. The requirements are: "Versatile and dynamic voice. It doesn't matter if it's trained or not; you only have to carry a tune. Good English and German articulation. A professional attitude, self-confidence, charisma, good looking and an awesome stage performance are also an advantage as much as experience in songwriting."

Interested parties should submit a short biography, CD, photos, and contact information to:

Dünser was born June 27, 1977 and joined ELIS, then still known as ERBEN DER SCHOPFUNG, in 2001. The follow-up to 2004's "Dark Clouds in a Perfect Sky" was completed at Mastersound Studios in Stuttgart with producer Alexander Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES).
